Bus Monkeys offers three design classes of SCA elevating sleeper roofs especially for the VW T5 and T6. As well as the established SCAstart and SCAcomfort roofs for short and long wheelbase, the range now includes the SCAhigh roof class for short wheelbase vehicles.
The SCA194 High roof has quickly became our most chosen roof for SWB models thanks to its increase in space and the option of a zip-out panoramic canvas. The high scissor lifts provide significantly more legroom and enable a sleeping position to be adopted with the head to the rear. The lift has been increased by 25cm compared to the other roofs in the SCA Range. High-quality slats with an aluminium frame provide even more comfort when sleeping.
The roof shell on SCA roofs are manufactured using the sophisticated vacuum expansion process. This guarantees accurate and consistent wall thicknesses and enables the external surface of the roof shell to be smooth and non-profiled. It also allows SCA to incorporate insulation directly in to the roof shell itself to keep heat in the van when needed.
All our SCA roofs come with a bed and mattress as standard as well as a cover panel to cover the opening to the roof when the roof is secured down.
For your safety all SCA roofs include a reinforcing frame to maintain the strength in the roof and a secure latch system to ensure the roof is secure when driving. All SCA elevating roofs fitted by Bus Monkeys are fully TUV approved. SCA elevating roofs are also the only aftermarket roofs to have received VW approval.
